Looking for Qigong doctor to help friend’s father with cancer.?

Monday, November 16th, 2009

I have a friend in California near San Francisco, who has a father that has cancer that isn’t responding to Chemotherapy. I would like to find a Qigong doctor who I can refer him to that has experience in healing cancer. I ‘m not talking about just self meditation, herbal remedies, or holistic hospice type management. I am talking about a live in or patient live in therapy. Complete management.
For example, 12 years ago I knew someone with lymph cancer and it was terminal. He went to Thailand and spent 4 months there. When he came back, the doctors said he was cured and they couldn’t understand how. But this is what I am looking for. Or something with this type of approach. If the person is in California that would be great but SE Asia might be OK too. He is Vietnamese. Anyone knowing such contacts would be much appreciated. Please no commercial programs or treatments.

This is a rather interesting question, especially since I happen to live in San Francisco :P
First off, I know one Chi Gung master who used to cure terminally ill cancer patients in China (after everything else had failed), but he doesn’t do that anymore, so I don’t think he’d be willing to do it.
However, he did find one chi gung form which seems to be semi effective for a person to treat their own cancer (although to be fair, having a good chi gung tui na doctor work on you will do more than that ever could).
If you want I could probably figure out a way to send you materials for learning how to do dragon and tiger (the specific chi gung form). I’m learning it, but I don’t feel competent enough to teach it yet.

#2 I’ve done lots of work with alternative cancer therapies besides D&T, and I have multiple close friends/relatives that have had fairly fast remissions without using any chemo bullshit. If you get the chance, there are some alternative therapies which work, they just aren’t very well known.
To a large extent though, what will or will not work depends on the type of cancer but to make a long story short, I’ve seen results with the following;
1) Orgone energy accumulators
2) Rife Machines
3) Major diet improvements (take crap out of the diet, stop eating sugar, drink alkanalized water, do the johanna budwig diet, try gerson therapy).
4) See if some sort of emotional/psycological problem is causing the cancer and deal with that.
You might want to seriously consider looking into some of the stuff I listed. I’m about to leave for a trip though, so I can’t help you more than that.

*this is the form I was referring to
http://www.google.com/search?q=dragon+and+tiger+medical+chi+gung&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
hope that helps!

What do I do now that I found out my cat has cancer?

Friday, November 13th, 2009

I am sure some of you will think this is a dumb question. I took him in for a laparoscopy yesterday because he has been losing weight like crazy (he is 15 years old) and all his blood work is normal. they found several stomach tumors and took biopsies. they said it looks like Lymphoma but will not know until we get the pathology report. If it is treatable ( i have pet insurance and it covers cancer) then I am going to try anything. he acts like he feels great and is eating constantly….so he does not appear to be miserable or something. is it wrong to try and keep him alive? Are there in "natural" things I can do to help him? What i mean is like holistic care that will help in addition to medical treatment. It if it is treatable, then it looks like chemo will be what they want to do.

I don’t think it’s wrong to try everything you can to help your cat. He is old though, so I’m sure your prepared that chemo treatments may not work and they could possibly be too much for him to handle. In addition there will probably be another health problem arising soon as well that comes along with old age. However, you never know the treatments may work and he could have several years left!!

My cat was 15 when he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, a heart condition and CRF. People thought I was crazy giving him constant medications and subcutaneous fluids daily at home. My wish for him was that he’d live out his final days comfortably at home. He ended up living only 7 months from the start of treatment, but he died peacefully at home which is what I wanted for him. He did not suffer. However, if at any time I felt that he was in more than a little pain I think I would have made the decision to euthanize and let him die a peaceful death. Ultimately you will know what is right for your baby. He will let you know when it’s time to let go.

New Treatment in Breast Cancer Detection

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

Mammography has been the standard for detecting breast cancer in its early stages, however dense breast tissue can make tumors difficult to find. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, women with dense breast tissue are five times more likely to develop breast cancer.

Now a new type of ultrasound treatment, the Acuson S2000 Automated Breast Volume Scanner (ABVS), may help find what traditional mammography misses. A study published in 2008 found that adding a screening ultrasound examination to routine mammography revealed 28 percent more cancers than mammography alone. Recently FDA approved, ABVS is the world's first multi-use automated breast volume ultrasound system.

This diagnostic tool provides a three dimensional view of the breast, allowing physicians to analyze from front to back, top to bottom, and side to side. The system is also more comfortable for the patient because it's non claustrophobic and radiation free.

I am starting radiation therapy & dr says no antioxidants, they will have neg effect. Any suggestions?

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

The conditions is breast cancer. I used Dr.Schultz fasting 8 years ago and went into remission. Have spent 1,000’s of dollars on holistic products. Some good, some not. Cancer came back and had to resort to medical treatment. The doctors REALLY DON’T know anything about natural methods. I’ve been using AHCC&medicinal mushrooms for white blood cells-great results. Was planning on using Sun Chlorella for radiation, but doctor said radiation works by free radicals eating cancer cells and antioxidants would stop that process. Now I’m confused. Help! Thank you

Absolutely follow the advice of your oncologist this time.

Antioxidants would protect both the normal and cancer cells. Radiation oncologists carefully plan how and where between radiation is given to kill off the cancer cells and damage as few as possible of your healthy and normal cells.

I am seeking natural, herbal, holistic ideas/remedies for chemo-related nausea. HELP! :)?

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

Thanks in advance for your assistance and insight.

I am in search of ANY remedies which are natural and safe. The nausea my friend is experiencing due to chemo treatments (and high levels of morphine for pain) is absolutely torturous; present at every moment of her day.

I have a few ideas from my limited studies in herbalism, but PLEASE enlighten me with any ideas you may have. I am interested in anything from teas to soups, poultices to bath preparations. Her specific cancer type is: bone, lung, retinal and lyphatic.

Thank you so much.

By the symptoms you have given here her remedy is the Homeopathic Remedy ARSENICUM ALBUM in 30C potency three times a day half an hour before meals. ARSENICUM ALBUM is a remedy par excellence in treating and curing Cancer. To read more about this remedy please click the link :- http://homeoint.org/books/boericmm/a/ars.htm

I have used this remedy on Cancer patients especially in bones and brain tumors with nothing short of amazing results. If you can email me her exact symptoms I can help you lots better but this remedy still remains her top remedy. I am reasonably sure that this remedy alone can cure her completely and mark my words she is going to start feeling better within three doses of it just do not discontinue it till she feels 100% better and keep me posted about her progress regularly. But you must read about it very carefully so you know why I have suggested this remedy. Feel free to email me if you need to ask anything. Her Doctor may object to the use of Homeopathy. It will compliment her conventional medicine and will not react with any of her regular medications and Chemotherapy nor will it give her any side effects GUARANTEED.

Take Care and God Bless you and your loved ones

I am looking for a beauty therapy disclaimer. Any advice?

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

I am running reasonably sized charity event on behalf of cancer backup and breast cancer care next week. This event involved a range of beauticians offering a variety of therapies including manicures, facials, and holistic treatments to members of the public for a donation to the charities. I am looking to have a generic disclaimer which all the participants will sign on registration to the event. This will just say that the therapists (who are all fully qualified) aren’t liable for anything. Does anyone know of any links online where I can print off such a disclaimer, or do you have any suggestions on how to word it? Many thanks

The undersigned understands that the event does not gauarantee to make you prettier.

The undersigned idemifies the Promoter, Participants, the rude lady in line and anyone currently in the USA including international air space from the following

Injury

Hair loss

burns, scars cuts, stinky solution

death, dismemberment, tooth loss, bad breath.

Falling building parts, sagging body parts, and sore feet or the theft of the above.

Also this agreement will cover anything else the Promoter has failed to mention, such as the loss of psychic abilites.

I would hire someone if I where that concerned. a generic disclaimer would provide fodder for any attorney.

Cancer Cure – Cannabis & Cannabinoids,by Robert Melamede,PhD

*** Cannabinoids and tumor inhibition in the news again this week!:
http://www.mapinc.org/drugnews/v08/n076/a02.html
On this video filmed in 2006, Dr. Robert Melamede, Professor of Biology at the University of Colorado, explains how the body’s Endo-Cannabinoid system (and plant based Cannabinoids as suppliment) kills cancer cells and inhibits tumor growth.
Refering to 1974 U.S.government-sponsored study when THC was found to slow growth of cancer cells
http://projectcensored.org/publications/2001/22.html
and to recent research in Spain finding that THC stopped brain tumors in rats and protected surrounding nerve tissue, demonstrating neuroprotectant aspect of Cannabinoids.
PDF of Dr. Guzman’s research:
http://americanmarijuana.org/Guzman-Cancer.pdf
Refering to “Homeostatic Regulation” of several body systems by Cannabinoids, Dr. Melamede concludes that Cannabis is indeed a “Miracle Drug”, also recommending hemp oil as excellent source of EFAs the body needs to fight disease.

Minimally Invasive Treatment for Kidney Cancer

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Freezing kidney tumors, using a safe minimally invasive interventional radiology treatment that kills the cancer 100 percent effectively without surgery, should be the first treatment option for all individuals with tumors that are 4 centimeters or smaller, and this treatment is a viable option for people with larger tumors. Interventional cryoablation is as effective as laparoscopic surgery, the current gold standard treatment. Eliminating cancer at such an early stage is significant news for kidney cancer patients. Interventional cryoablation is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure. Patients leave the hospital with only a bandaid and return to normal activity almost immediately vs. the current common treatment of laparoscopic surgery with several days in the hospital and two to four weeks of recovery.

ABOUT INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

Interventional radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments that offer less risk, less pain and less …

Holistic Flea Treatments?

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

With chemical /pesticide flea treatments such as revolution, program, atvantage etc. causing so many health problems ( ie cancer, liver failure etc.) in dogs and cats . Can anyone recommend a holistic aproach to not only killing off the fleas but also repelling them?
Thanks Barb for the answers . Next question though is where do I get the
Damascus earth?

Penny royal, southern wood, wormwood, alecost, and lavenders, are natural flea/insect repellents and can be grown around the kennel, or dried and put under the animal’s bedding.
Damascus earth in a powder form can be brushed into the coat to kill off the fleas that are there. (It is very old seashells that are crushed up). The grit dries out the fleas without harming your animal, even if they lick it off.
Natural pyrethrum powder can be used the same way. (keep away from fish, is poisonous to fish), but do not use a concentrate or oil.
Collars with certain oils on (eucalyptus, tea tree, lavender) can make your dog unattractive to fleas, as can dog washes containing these. Some animals have sensitive skins so patch check the animal first.
Keeping the area around where the animals live flea free keeps them flea free for longer too.

****Thanks to wont_eve for the correct spelling. But as to why do the Companys spend that much money on insecticides, the answer is simple. Some people want a 3 second fix and don’t care what sort of poison they have to use to affect that.

My cat has been under Holistic care for Cancer as well as other health issues?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I’ve had awesome success with my kitty, Fuzz, who was supposed to be dead 4 years ago. The regular vet told me it would be $2,000 for colon surgery and she couldn’t even tell me whether Fuzz would survive the surgery. I went home, cried and started looking up alternative therapies. I found Amy Hanson who does biofeedback via a computerized system (I simply bring in some of Fuzz’s fur and she is able to analyze Fuzz’s thoughts and feelings, etc. which is great since Fuzz doesn’t speak English). Over the course of four years, Amy has saved Fuzz over a half dozen times. Once Fuzz got bit by a poison spider and I fed Fuzz whatever herbal remedies I had of Amy’s on hand. Just an amazing treatment! I highly recommend bio feedback so you can a) find out what’s really wrong with your pet and b) get it treated safely with herbs. Fuzz is getting older and lately I notice she is fast approaching the winter of her life span but I am very grateful for the extra four years. LadyFarinColorad

I gotta say, it sounds "hokey", but if Fuzz has been doing well, I guess anything is possible?

Glad your kitty has given you 4 more years. :)

A golden retriever at age 1 1/2 yrs has cancer…..wow, so young. Anyone familiar with holistic treatments????

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

My dear friend from work got a gorgeous male golden less than 1 year ago! She is considering holistic healing. The option is/was surgery, but the cancer is in the flank area of his back leg, and high up……not easy to amputate. They could attempt removal and treatments, but my friend is sickened at the thought and is considering alternative treatment in the holistic area. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY GUIDANCE OR EXPERIENCE IN HOLISTIC HEALING FOR THIS CIRCUMSTANCE?

Note: Breeder knows, has offered another puppy, all the proper steps have been taken. This is not the question, the holistic healing is the question, please. Thank you.
He (his name is Kingston) was age 9 months when they got him from the breeder. He’s absolutely loving, gorgeous, and precious!!
NOTE: ****I AM sending your responses over to her to read, so please give respectable and educated advice. This is her baby. Thank you kindly. :o )
I’m heading to bed now, but I will read any further responses in the morning. Then, I’m going to send them over to my friend for her to look over. Thank you all, and please continue to post. Kingston is precious and is a beautiful example of the golden retriever breed. Thank you.

I’m so terribly sorry for your friend and her dog.

In a case like this (you don’t mention the type of cancer) I would go to a canine oncologist.

I did this when one of my young dogs got a mast cell tumor on her neck. Naturally amputation was not an option!

Her oncologist worked with the other specialists to have an appropriate surgery and she made a full recover with no problems.

It wasn’t cheap, but my dog is still with me.

I wish there were a holistic option, but there wasn’t one that I found that was reliable.

If you find a possible holistic option, use it in conjunction with a canine oncologist for the best possible results.

The Importance Of Accreditation In Breast Cancer Treatment

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

More more info visit www.newsinfusion.com

A new survey found most women donâ??t understand the importance of accreditation in breast cancer treatment centers. Surprisingly, new research from the American College of Surgeons found two-thirds of women (66%) admit they were not aware or did not know if breast cancer treatment centers and facilities can be accredited. However, where women choose to get breast cancer treatment can impact the care they receive, and ultimately the results they achieve.

To be â??accredited,â? breast cancer centers must follow a comprehensive and consistent set of standards for treatment based on medical guidelines and evidence. They must also support patientsâ?? social and emotional needs. Accredited centers are screened by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, a program of the American College of Surgeons and advised by leading patient groups and professional medical societies.

After a brief overview of accreditation â?? what it means and why it is important â?? …

What treatment options work best for dog/canine cancer?

Monday, October 26th, 2009

Our 7 year old English Cocker Spaniel was just diagnosed with prostate cancer a few days ago. We’re looking for people who have had success with treatment plans (chemo, holistic, etc.). Our vet has him on piroxicam to help shrink his prostate down, but we would love to hear any success stories anyone has.

Sorry to hear about your dog. A study was conducted a few years back at University of Missouri vet school that found a higher success rate with using a combination of piroxicam and mitoxantrone than with either drug used alone so that might be something worth discussing with your vet.

That’s the most effective treatment option of which I’m aware. Though surgery and chemotherapy are options, they are not good ones as they don’t often prove successful and have inherent risks.

Best of luck with it.
